1014 Medium-Term Residual Waste Treatment Contract

Following a recent UK Government consultation, the Council wishes to invite interested parties to share their views on ‘a potential elimination of biodegradable waste disposal in landfills from 2028’ as it continues to scope its requirements for its upcoming Medium-Term Residual Waste Treatment Contract tender. To receive a copy of the Council’s questionnaire, please email Waste.Procurement@essex.gov.uk. Responses to the questionnaire are requested by 07 August 2023. The Council plans to run another round of market engagement prior to publishing its procurement in the coming months, further details of which will be communicated at a later date.
