Terms of service
The terms that apply when you use TenderStead.
These terms govern your use of TenderStead, operated by TenderStead, a UK sole trader. Contact: hello@tenderstead.co.uk.
The service
TenderStead collects public procurement notices from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, filters them, and provides search and email digests for cleaning and facilities management work.
We are not affiliated with the UK government or any contracting authority. Notices come from official sources and are published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We do not guarantee that every notice is included, complete, or timely. Always check the official notice before bidding.
Your account
You must give an accurate email address, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share an account between people or organisations.
Free trial
New accounts may receive a 14-day free trial without a card. When the trial ends, digest emails stop unless you subscribe. Your filters and data remain available.
Subscriptions and payment
The monthly plan is £29 per month. The annual plan is £290 per year. Prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We may change prices by giving you notice before your next renewal. If you do not accept a price change, cancel before it takes effect.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel from the link in your Stripe receipt or by contacting hello@tenderstead.co.uk. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not usually refund part of a billing period.
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to start a digital service immediately, you may lose that right once the service has begun. Contact us if you want to exercise a statutory right.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, scrape or resell the data, share access, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass security or payment controls. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Intellectual property
The TenderStead name, site, and software belong to us or our licensors. Procurement notice data remains subject to its original licence. You get a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your own business during your subscription.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided on an “as is” basis. We may suspend it for maintenance, security, or events outside our control.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms, do not pay, or if we stop providing the service. We will handle your data as described in our privacy notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
