Description

The purpose of this PIN is to initiate market engagement. It is not being used as a call for competition. The PIN is intended as an information-gathering exercise. The purpose of this early engagement notice is to notify the market of the Department for Education's (DfE) intention to undertake a procurement exercise to source a potential supplier via the competitive award of a contract to establish a national centre for languages, to support a collaborative network of Languages Hubs, as part of the wider development of school-led system leadership, in England. The aim of the Languages Hubs is to support schools and colleges to increase interest, uptake and attainment in languages, helping to reach the 90% EBacc entry ambition as restated in the Schools White Paper.
