Framework Agreement for the provision of Asbestos Surveys and Air Monitoring Services

Description

This Framework is for the provision of refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys, management surveys, air monitoring including emergency response, four stage clearance testing and ad-hoc bulk sampling for asbestos materials. Throughout the Framework and each Call-Off, the organisation undertaking surveys and reinspections shall hold UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 covering the commissioned inspection activities. Laboratories undertaking bulk identification, air sampling, fibre counting and four-stage clearance shall hold UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for each relevant activity. Survey accreditation is an additional contractual requirement; it is not presented as a universal legal requirement.
