A contract has been awarded for the following: High Level Requirement Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) has a requirement for clean ups, drying services, property restoration and building services (including electrical) work which arises from the following situations: - Where properties both/either domestic and/or commercial are affected by freshwater water ingress - Where metering activities cause water damage to properties - Where sewerage flooding affects properties - this will be limited to clean up and disinfection only. This will mainly but not exclusively involve an emergency response to properties for an initial assessment of the water/sewerage ingress and commencement of clean up and drying operations. Electrical safety/testing may form part of the initial response. The response will then incorporate all aspects of recovery, including but not limited to assessing the extent of any water ingress and resulting damage, reporting on that damage, drying and restoration within the properties as well as providing the facility for any building works that are required as a result of the incident including any external damage assessment. The ability to provide incident management as well as reporting both onsite and offsite to NWG is required. Excellent customer service skills also need to be demonstrated both on and off site as customer satisfaction is a key part of this work.
